Art, drawing, and sculpture are all part of the creative process behind her jewellery. Pictorial language has carved out a niche of choice in the artist’s works.
Jewellery creation and painting are communicating vessels. Anne-Marie Chagnon combines the two art forms, which inspire one another: a lot of her jewellery is reminiscent of her sketches, and creative links can be made between certain paintings and pieces of jewellery.
After a few multidisciplinary exhibitions in Canada and abroad, Amorce is the first solo exhibition of renowned artist and jewellery designer Anne-Marie Chagnon's paintings.
Looking Back and Take-Off were on exhibit from May 1st to June 14th, 2015 at Maison de la culture Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
